Description

Deerskin Split #2 offers the same soft suede texture, lightweight feel, and flexibility as our Grade #1 hides at an excellent value. Sueded on both sides and easy to work with, it is well suited for moccasins, medicine bags, pouches, garments, regalia, beadwork, appliqué, trim, fringe, repairs, and general leathercraft. Grade #2 hides may have more holes, scars, blemishes, uneven areas, or other imperfections than Grade #1, but still provide plenty of useful leather for projects where completely flawless sections are not required. Each hide is naturally unique, and the amount and placement of imperfections will vary.

Tanned Deer hide 5ft

I ordered the 5ft hide from here, and there are multiple holes right in the middle of them. It mentions there may be some holes, but mine has 4 holes and it looks like they are cut out. Vwry Disappointed. Site mentions there are no returns on leather.

Hi Raven — I’m sorry your 5-ft tanned deer hide arrived with several holes. While holes and scars can occur naturally, multiple in the centre isn’t the experience we want. We’ve addressed this with our team: we now double-check hides before packing, and all future shipments will be sorted and sold by grade. Leather hides are eligible for return or exchange when uncut and in new condition. Please contact us with your order number so we can make this right.
