Description  

Deerskin Suede is a soft, flexible split suede with a comfortable feel and easy workability, making it a great choice for projects that need movement, drape, and a soft surface. It works well for moccasins, medicine bags, pouches, garments, fringe, appliqué, beadwork, regalia accents, trim, repairs, and soft craft projects. Its lightweight feel makes it especially useful for detailed designs, smaller cut pieces, and projects where a softer suede is preferred. As with all natural leather, each hide may vary in grain, markings, shape, and usable area.

Tanned Deer hide 5ft

I ordered the 5ft hide from here, and there are multiple holes right in the middle of them. It mentions there may be some holes, but mine has 4 holes and it looks like they are cut out. Vwry Disappointed. Site mentions there are no returns on leather.

Hi Raven — I’m sorry your 5-ft tanned deer hide arrived with several holes. While holes and scars can occur naturally, multiple in the centre isn’t the experience we want. We’ve addressed this with our team: we now double-check hides before packing, and all future shipments will be sorted and sold by grade. Leather hides are eligible for return or exchange when uncut and in new condition. Please contact us with your order number so we can make this right.
