Description  

This #1 Deerskin Leather is a soft yet more substantial deerskin leather with a semi matte grain front and soft sueded back, making it suitable for moccasins, medicine bags, pouches, garment accents, regalia pieces, beadwork panels, appliqué, trim, fringe, and soft leather accessories. This current deerskin batch is thicker than our typical deer hides and has a slightly springy feel when handled. Although this is a #1 grade hide with good usable sections, the surface may show natural linear grain or crease lines, as well as some areas with surface cracking. As with all natural leather, each hide may vary in grain, markings, shape, and usable area.
